I’m studying artificial intelligence as a first year PhD student under George Konidaris at Brown University.

Humans have the ability to seamlessly mix planning, learning, and communication to efficiently handle seemingly intractable problems even under great uncertainty.

Why can’t our algorithms do that yet?

To work towards that end, my research interests include a broad mix of model-based reinforcement learning, hierarchical reinforcement learning, abstractions, partial observability, and a little bit of theory of mind.
